Dr Finlay M Robinson (m)

MB ChB MRCGP BSc DRCOG DCH

Dr Robinson qualified from St Andrews/Dundee in 1975. He trained in both paediatrics and general practice before joining this practice in 1981. He is married with two children. His interests include child care and gastroenterology. 2/3 time.

Dr James B Moore (m)

BSc MB ChB DRCOG

Dr Moore trained in Edinburgh where he qualified in 1981. He joined the practice in 1986 and works full time.  His particular interest is in cardiac medicine and he has a community appointment in cardiology.

Dr Timothy J Hardwick (m)

BSc MBBS DCH DTM&H MRCGP Dip Ther


Dr Hardwick trained in London where he qualified in 1990. He joined the practice in 1999. He has worked for a year in New Zealand and for two years as a V.S.O. volunteer in a rural hospital in Africa.  He works full time and his particular interest is diabetic medicine. He is a trainer for GP registrars.

Dr Vivien R Smellie (f)

MB BS Bsc DCH DRCOG DFFP                                                       

Dr Smellie trained in London where she qualified in 1992. She joined the practice in 1998 and became a partner in January 2003. Her special interests include women’s health (menstrual problems, menopause and contraception). She is qualified to fit intrauterine devices and subdermal implants for contraception and qualified to take endometrial biopsies for the investigation of menstrual problems.  She works 2/3 time.

Dr Catherine E Archibald (f)

MMBS MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP

Dr Archibald trained in London where she qualified in 1996. She joined the practice in 2005 as a partner. Her special interests include dermatology and paediatrics. 2/3 time.

Dr Chin J Whybrew (f)

MA MB BChir MRCGP DCH DRCOG DPD

Dr Chin Whybrew trained in Cambridge where she qualified in 1997. She joined the practice as a partner in 2010. Her special interests include dermatology (for which she holds the diploma in practical dermatology) and paediatrics, including bedwetting. She works half time.

Dr Esther Z Annis (f)

MBChB DRCOG MRCGP

Dr Annis qualified from Leicester University in 1992 and joined the practice in 2003 as a Salaried GP. She works half time and her special interests include rheumatology and osteoporosis.

Dr Jo V Johnson (f)

BSc. MBBS. DRCOG. MRCGP.


Dr Johnson joined us in 2006 as a Salaried ("Retainer") GP and does 4 sessions per week. She has an interest in paediatrics and mental health problems.

The practice is a training practice and we will often have a training GP ("GP Registrar") working with us. This doctor is fully qualified and has at least three years of hospital experience.
